Main trends of development of engineering industry enterprises in conditions of slowing innovative processes
Abstract
The authors proves the importance of mechanical engineering for the country's economy to meet the needs of material production and non-productive sphere, population and defense, identifies the main problems and challenges faced by enterprises in today's difficult economic environment against the background of slowing innovation.
The aim of the article is to study the existing approaches to innovative support for sustainable development of enterprises in terms of their need to adapt to innovative and changing operating conditions and identify ways to minimize the negative effects of slowing down innovation processes to ensure sustainable development of machine-building enterprises.
The authors analyzes the main trends in the development of machine-building enterprises and concludes that the decline in industrial production by all types of activities is due to a number of factors, including the lack of a common strategy to support the industry and national priorities for certain industries. reduction of production for export due to unfavorable economic conditions and loss of foreign markets, reduced demand for industrial and machine-building products in the domestic market due to reduced purchasing power of consumers in Ukraine, increased tariffs for electricity and other raw materials, lack of specialists, the lack of preferential working capital and investment funds for the development of production and reduce the activity of global and domestic investment activities, the lack of an effective state program to stimulate innovation those of the engineering industry. The article notes that despite some positive developments, the number of innovative industrial enterprises is declining, while the cost of innovation of industrial enterprises remains unchanged due to the long-term negative impact of general economic problems associated with structural deformation of the economy, significant weight of raw materials, which slows down economic development and returns Ukraine to III and IV technological systems.
Based on the outlined problems and the research conducted, the author describes the identified problems of the machine-building industry of Ukraine and provides recommendations for their solution.
