The Realization of Mixed Learning Mode in the Digital Education Environment of Universities in China
Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of development and implementation of blended learning in the educational process of training specialists, which is connected with the development of computer, digital, network, and communication technologies that provide new opportunities for learning and teaching in a higher education institution.
Blended learning is an organic combination of online and classroom learning that changes the traditional teacher-centered model. Based on the theory and concept of blended learning, the paper explores the modeling and testing of the blended learning mode using Internet resources and multi-platform integration in the training of specialists in computer majors in colleges and universities in China.
The proposed model of the mode of blended learning in the digital educational environment of the university, which contains four components: analysis of the learning situation, teaching design, implementation of blended learning, and evaluation of student learning outcomes. The content of each component is revealed. For better implementation in the educational process, structural models of step-by-step implementation of blended learning have been developed: preparation for learning, the main stage of the learning process and completion of learning after class.
The method of evaluating students' learning results during the teaching of computer science courses in Chinese universities is optimized in order to make evaluations more objective and reasonable. The evaluation method is based on complex factors (quality of student works, answers in class), taking into account the share of elements of current control and final control, which are automatically filled in by the network platform.
The results of an empirical study of the practical implementation of the proposed model show that this mode of learning stimulates students' interest in learning, develops the ability to learn independently, increases the spirit of cooperation, improves innovative awareness and ability to think, and also has an obvious effect on the quality of learning. This proposed model of blended learning plays a positive role in promoting the development of talents in colleges and universities, improving the teaching methods of teachers, and optimizing the training time of specialists with higher education.
