Formation of transversal competences in hei students on the basis of hybrid learning

The formation of transversal competencies in students of higher education through the use of forms of blended and hybrid learning based on formal and non-formal education is relevant today and is one of the long-term goals of modern aspects of educational integration. A feature of transversal competencies is their transfer to the work situation, regardless of where and when they were formed. Transversal competencies are characterized as those that describe knowledge, skills and values that will help future professionals to realize themselves as individuals and professionals, as well as find work, their place in life and society. Therefore, higher education is designed to create conditions for the training of a specialist of innovative type, who has transversal competencies, which will allow a person to optimize their work activities. Identifying the various components of transversal skills provides opportunities to consider them in more detail and interpret them in the learning process. Among the main ones are critical and innovative thinking, interpersonal skills, intrapersonal skills and media and information literacy. Given that transversal competencies can be formed during both formal and non-formal education on the basis of modern forms of learning, which include both traditional, blended and hybrid. Hybrid learning is defined as educational activities that take place in synchronous and asynchronous modes, both traditionally and online with the presence of physical and distance. To classify hybrid learning, its distinctive features have been identified.

The formation of students' transversal competencies can take place not only through traditional forms and methods of learning, but now more through various forms that reflect the realities of today.

Involvement in the educational environment of hybrid education and non-traditional forms of education, allow the formation of, for example, intrapersonal skills of students, because they require the student self-discipline, enthusiasm, perseverance, motivation, empathy, honesty, determination, which are also necessary for professional growth in any field.
