Participation in project activities as a means of activating the adaptive qualities of students of general secondary education
Abstract. This article highlights and updates the importance of using project activities as an essential component of the educational process. The purpose of project activities is to provide a basic framework for individuals to work on their own development and to find the necessary auxiliary means to support the desire to grow and improve. The importance of child development is a key issue for the school, the importance of including project activities in the curriculum is disclosed. Different variants of the definition of project activities, which complement each other, are given, the question of development of competencies during the educational process is raised, the idea of using project activities as an environment for the development of competencies is put forward. Provided a point of view on the importance of gaining competencies and skills during schooling that will help be effective in the labor market in the future. The results of research conducted in Europe and Kharkiv in 2020 are presented, indicating the importance of developing adaptive qualities of the individual. The stated point of view, introduces the importance of schoolchildren's participation in project activities to activate the adaptive qualities of the individual. Learning activities in institutions of general secondary education should be aimed at the development of the personality of education applicants. Providing opportunities to try themselves in "different roles as a performer" gives exactly the project method of learning. The introduction of this type of activity into the practice of the educational process solves various problems faced by institutions of general secondary education in their functioning.
The ideas of adaptive learning, which can be used as a basis for project activities for personal development and increased motivation, are presented.
