Abstract

Abstract. The relevance of the article is that the work of law enforcement is intense and complex, requires quality training not only in professional but also anthropological disciplines. The expediency of the article is due to the existing contradiction between the needs of law enforcement officers to protect their lives and health and insufficiently high level of their preparation for professional self-realization and its components (self-knowledge, self-preservation, self-control, self-management).

The purpose of the article is to develop and use self-management techniques in the work of law enforcement officers on the example of the latest approaches to the organization of the educational process in higher education institutions with specific learning conditions.

 Self-management is defined as a set of rational methods and organizational levers for managing one's own work and a necessary component of professional self-realization of law enforcement officers. The content of self-management is revealed, as: planning, organization, motivation, control, the implementation of which ensures the viability and performance of professional duties by law enforcement officers. Emphasis is placed on the fact that self-motivation is the driving force of professional self-realization of law enforcement officers and the main factor of self-management. The need to change oneself for the better is manifested in the positive attitude of law enforcement officers to their professional activities, their satisfaction with their own processes of self-growth and career growth.

The author's script of a video course on "Self-management in the work of law enforcement officers" was developed in order to master the cadets of the basics of self-management and appropriate techniques of self-influence, the formation of law enforcement readiness to act in emergency conditions. This course can be used during classroom classes, self-training, in the work of clubs.

Prospects for further research are the development of guidelines for the development and application of self-management techniques in the educational process of higher education institutions with specific learning conditions for course officers, teachers and cadets.
