Abstract

Adaptive application of teaching methods in the process of forming the concept of "Chemical reactions" for students of preparatory departments

Annotation. The article is devoted to the substantiation and development of a model of adaptive use of teaching methods by students of preparatory departments in the process of forming the concept of "Chemical reactions". The goals and objectives of studying the course "Chemistry" by students in the preparatory Department are defined, which is to systematize knowledge, eliminate discrepancies between national and Ukrainian General education programs in chemistry, increase the level of basic chemical training of foreign students in preparatory departments and form a cognitive component. The problems that arise in students of preparatory departments when studying the module "Chemical reactions" are identified.

A comprehensive method of teaching chemical reactions is proposed, which provides the assimilation of educational information at the introductory, conceptual, analytical and productive-synthetic levels by memorizing, understanding, applying, analyzing, synthesizing and evaluating in the process of reproductive and productive educational and cognitive activities. It is indicated that for the assimilation of educational information at the introductory and conceptual-analytical levels and the formation of the concept of "Chemical reactions", it is necessary to use a system of exercises, tasks, tests, problem situations, practical and laboratory work. It is proved that effective methods of teaching at the productive-synthetic level are chemical experiments, solving creative tasks, solving problem and cognitive tasks, conducting heuristic conversations and performing creative works.
