The development of information and communication competence of teachers of the military education system as methodological problem


Abstract

Nowadays the education system is significantly influenced by information and communication technologies which provide a wide range of educational information services. It can be confirmed that information and communication technologies modernize technology and learning process in general. In particular, there were appeared network educational datacenters and modern ICT means of learning. The analysis of scientific sources and dissertation on IC-competence shows that scientific researchers are conducted in several problem areas, namely: the isolation and interpretation of the concept of IC-competence; formation of IC-competence; development of IC-competence. A complex of theoretical and empirical methods was used in the process of research. There were used interviews, interviews with teachers and specialists on the problem of the formation and development of information and communication competence as empirical methods of research. The conducted analysis on IC-competence enabled us to determine the main methodological approaches to solving the problem of formation and development of IC-competence. Consequently, the analysis of scientific sources and dissertation researches on IC-competence shows that considerable attention of scientists is devoted to solving the problem issue of formation and development of IC-competence of teachers. However, it should be noted that no one has been engaged in research on the development of the IC-competence of teachers of the military education system in Ukraine, which in turn generates the topicality and necessity of carrying out the relevant research on the development of the competence of the teachers of the military education system. It should be emphasized that the development of the IC-competence of the teacher of the military education system is an important process for carrying out professional activities in the current conditions of development of the state. Therefore, we believe that further work may be aimed at determining the structure of the IC-competence of teachers of the military education system, criteria, relevant indicators, levels of development of the competency under consideration. In addition, conversations with colleagues, studying documents regulating the process of professional development, showed the lack of a scientifically based model of the development of the IC-competence of teachers of the military education system.
